Team Sonadi
Mrs. Vandana Sengupta, Dr. Vijay Kumar Yadav and Ms. Atashi Sengupta started Sonadi in 2001.
Dr. Vijay Kumar Yadav, a renowned veterinarian has his clinic at Ramesh Nagar in New Delhi. He worked at Sanjay Gandhi Animal Care Centre for more than two years where he came in contact with Mrs. Sengupta. He is deeply involved in the cause of animal welfare and animal birth control operations. He is a staunch supporter of Mrs. Sen in her crusade for animal rights.
Ms. Atashi Sengupta, daughter of Mrs. Vandana Sengupta, is a transplant coordinator at St. Stephen’s Hospital, New Delhi. She is dedicated to the cause of giving life a second chance to all living beings.
Mr. Hari Shankar, a senior accountant with a funding agency provides voluntary accounts consultancy to Sonadi.
Ms. Simran, a businesswoman and social worker at heart is a major contributor and part of Sonadi family.
A skeletal but dedicated staff serves the shelter & trust. The Sonadi family has voluntary doctors and part time interns; social worker & shelter in-charge, compounder; drivers who also help as paramedics and in administration; part time dogcatcher; cook and helpers.
